This kit from Vertical Doors, Inc., part number VDCN37009, replaces the stock hinges so each door moves out and then straight up in a vertical arc instead. It fits every trim of the two-door 370Z from 2009 through 2020, all twelve model years.

The hinges bolt straight to the factory bolt pattern, so the mounting points already exist on the car, and the conversion is completely reversible if you ever want to go back to stock. Vertical Doors builds and patents these kits in the USA, using domestic hardened steel. An instruction manual ships with the kit and VDI offers free tech support, but doors are heavy and alignment matters, so we recommend having a professional installer do the work from the supplied instructions.

Each kit has right and left hinge assemblies, two gas shocks, M8 bolts with washers, shoulder bolts and pins (VDI install manuals); set screw #2 and nut #1 adjust where the door closes.
