Fitment is the 2013 through 2016 Scion FRS, and the kit covers every trim in those model years. This is a Vertical Doors, Inc. conversion, part number VDCSCFRS2013, designed around this specific chassis rather than adapted from a universal hinge. Your factory doors stay on the car; the kit swaps the stock hinges so the doors swing out and then up in the vertical style.

The hinges bolt directly to the factory bolt pattern, and the whole conversion is reversible, so the car can go back to stock hinges down the road. Every kit is made in the USA from domestic hardened steel, and the hinge design is patented. The door first swings out on the vertical pin, then lifts on the round bearing hub, and the gas shock holds it up: the two-stage motion in VDI's patent (US 6,845,547). Each kit has right and left hinge assemblies, two gas shocks, M8 bolts with washers, shoulder bolts and pins (VDI install manuals); set screw #2 and nut #1 adjust where the door closes. A typical kit, drawn from VDI's Crossfire manual: the plate, arm, brackets, shock and angles differ by vehicle, and each kit is made for its car.
